Evolver Music Video featuring Koekoemoer

Using internet stars in video's, ads and features has become all the rage these days. We saw it with South Park killing the Tron Guy, Starwars Kid, The Nunchuck Guy and various others. Weezer just came out with an awesome video featuring a ton of internet celebs as well: Weezer - Pork and Beans.

Locally it's been Vernon Koekoemoer, from Vodacom to Nandos ads, even 7'de Laan jumped on the ox wagon. It's all getting a tad old though, I may even take a wild one and say Nando's jumped the shark with their attempt.

Evolver though, made a grand effort featuring the Koek in their latest Music vid - very well done lads. I was a little surprised even.

Something so majestic, so beautiful is happening right this minute on Facebook. Something so monumental its enough to make the Cloverfield Monster cry. Last week at the H2O rave (yes raves still happen apparently), a certain someone was snapped sporting a blouse and buffaloes. His name, Vernon Koekoemoer (well, so he's been dubbed) and people from all over the Facebook'isphere are on a quest to make his dream that he never asked for happen!The dedicated MAKE VERNON KOEKOEMOER FAMOUS! Facebook group describes how we got to this point.

Vernon was photographed at H20 last weekend. But now he has set his sights higher. He wants to travel the globe, interact with foreign cultures and experience the wonders of our diverse world. Please help him realise this dream.
