'Ol Nash himself found a stonker of a song by Katy Perry where she professes that she kissed a girl and liked it, and she hopes her boneheaded boyfriend doesn't care. I don't about you but that's a sure fire way to get your song listed on ChumpStyle's "One way to sell your crap music" list.

For the first time ever, a video of good-looking, naked young people was made more interesting with censor bars.

The song is "Toe Jam," by BPA (featuring David Byrne and Dizzee Rascal).

Surprisingly good, and surprisingly safe for work - I suppose that depends on how churchie your colleagues are.

Evolver Music Video featuring Koekoemoer

Using internet stars in video's, ads and features has become all the rage these days. We saw it with South Park killing the Tron Guy, Starwars Kid, The Nunchuck Guy and various others. Weezer just came out with an awesome video featuring a ton of internet celebs as well: Weezer - Pork and Beans.

Locally it's been Vernon Koekoemoer, from Vodacom to Nandos ads, even 7'de Laan jumped on the ox wagon. It's all getting a tad old though, I may even take a wild one and say Nando's jumped the shark with their attempt.

Evolver though, made a grand effort featuring the Koek in their latest Music vid - very well done lads. I was a little surprised even.

Corenell - Keep on Jumpin'

Oh man have I got a treat for you, I watched this earlier on VH1 and thought of the ChumpStyle army. It quite possible is the best music video I have ever seen to date, ever! Chicks wearing next to nothing playing footie in the mud.

With the writers on strike, Conan has been coming up with his own content (and growing a beard). When the nerdy scripts come back though, I'm sure there'll be more Conan singing country. View the video here.

Watch how this English interviewer cuts Avril into tiny pieces. It starts off with an awkward question and gets progressively worse for the little Sk8er grrl.I was on the floor after the "they say Venice smells like eggs..." comment, ah British dry humor - gotta love it.

Linkin Park - Chester and Whine

After a four year run of side projects and collaborations Linkin Park are back with a brand new single and a forthcoming album release in May.

After listening to the lovely piano, harps and Chester Bennington's girlish, raspy whine on the latest single What I've Done, I'm convinced they're sitting firmly behind Coldplay in an around the world "can you rockers get any more geekier" yacht race.

Audioslave are Done! Rage is back?

Just read the news of Chris Cornell leaving Audioslave, which personally is a massive shock. This press release from Chris Cornell's new album (via Stereogum):

Cornell is permanently departing super-group Audioslave stating, "Due to irresolvable personality conflicts as well as musical differences, I am permanently leaving the band Audioslave. I wish the other three members nothing but the best in all of their future endeavors.

All did seem a bit weird when the theme track for Casino Royale was a solo Chris Cornell labeled effort, I still could never see it happen. Although looking at the band photo above now, I have no idea why it never happened any sooner. It looks as though Zoolander Cornell is the only one who asked for a stylist. Did/Does Keith Richards ever ask for a stylist? Yeah keep walking Chris.

Rage Against the Machine re-birth? I do hope so.
