There is nothing more insightful than a few men (drunken men if possible) having a chat about modern living. For example...

Jack What are your thoughts on chivalry? Do you hold the door open for women?
Jack Or do you rush through and let it close in her face?
James I rush through and lock the door behind me. If she's able to climb through the window, she's a keeper.
Jack Do you open the window for her?
James Yes. But it's the second-story window.
Jack Do you leave her a ladder?
James No. I expect her to lash together a ladder out of rope and wood.
Jack Do you leave her rope?
James No. I expect her to weave a rope out of natural available materials.
James Grasses and vines and stuff.
Jack Do you leave her those materials?
James I leave her seeds.
