Chili - that's hot!
I would like to introduce you to Pretoria Boys' High School's second Bok captain in quick succession. First John Smit, and now Chiliboy Ralepelle.Read it at News24.
And dude's making news and setting some records. First Black captain. And the youngest at 20 years old. Can't wait to see the Dutchman having to take orders from him! Fucken love it!!!! Oh, and correct me if I'm wrong but he captained the First Team in Form 4? Can't remember...
Okay, so it's not an official test match, and he's proably gonna hand over the captaincy at half time, but that's well impressive!
Holy Moses, Wikipedia even has him listed!!!
Update: Well, while we’re bragging, let me introduce some of Boys’ High’s other rugger buggers.
John Smit (SA, matric 1996)
Is there anything about "Barney" you don't know?
Brian Liebenberg (France, matric 1997)
Jeez, I remember Brian being a red-faced, not-too-good-looking guy, but that is ridiculous photo of him!
Francois Viljoen (USA, matric 1999)
Francois was our head prefect when we matriculated in ’99. G Man and Boston Robert may be visiting him early next year in Cali. He’s been jamming for the US Eagles, with 11 caps. Read his profile - here some interesting snippets - born in Oakland, CA – Rob, you concur, dunno about that?
Most difficult opponents: Wales???? Franc, are you smoking crack? What about the Boks at Loftus or the All Blacks anywhere they take their stride?
Most Embarrassing Moment in Rugby: I scored a try on the 22m line against Baltimore in a pre-season game this year. And then I dotted down on the 5 meter line a few minutes later. Best captain: Warren Liebenberg (Brian's brother, FYI).
And then guys like Robbie Brink in the mid 90s and some others. Oh, and Loftus Versveld himself was a Boys’ High boy way back when... before he chose to continue his existence on earth as a rugger stadium.
